I know that this is not the promised topic for my next post however I wanted to let everyone know about this. I have gotten a great deal on my website. (YES it is finally back up!!) I got a free domain name (WebAddress) from https://www.co.cc and free hosting from http://www.000webhost.com/431429.html or see link banner above. This WebHosting service is actually outstanding on the free side and spectacular on the paid hosting side. So far I have not had to deal with their customer service or technical support so I can not tell you much about that but, with a very simple and intuitive site builder native *** 1500 MB of disk space *** 100 GB of data transfer *** PHP and MySQL support with no restrictions *** cPanel control panel *** Website Builder *** Absolutely no advertising! I am not complaining. They do have Email service also however I have chosen to go with Google hosting my email and a few other things (This will be a topic for a future post including Google Apps like Google Docs, Google Voice and other awesome FREE services being offered by Google). If you look at my site you will notice that I have advertisements on it. These I put there myself using links provided by 000webhost and Google to generate income from clicks. In the last week that I have had my site up I have generated a total of $300 profit from the two. Not bad for a completely free site from start to finish huh? The Paid hosting plans offered are even better and I will be upgrading my own here shortly. They are offering UNLIMITED data storage and 100mbps bandwidth. Of course they stipulate that you can not host illegal files or pirated copies of files which is understandable but imagine the possibilities. I know for myself I will be transferring a bunch of my FTP server over to this service when I upgrade. I cant compete with that amount of storage and bandwidth. I will also be exploring CMS and a few other Webdesign and WebApp capabilities with this service that are available to both the free and the paid hosting. I will compare the functions and features available to both and see how it stacks up.
